DPDB meetings held in Peren, Mon

The monthly District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) meetings were held in Peren and Mon districts, where various issues and development activities concerning the districts were discussed.
Namri Nchang asks HoDs to be regular
Advisor for Water Resources, Namri Nchang appealed to the HoDs of various departments posted in Peren to be sincere and regular in their respective place of posting.
According to a DIPR report, the advisor was speaking at the DPDB meeting in the conference hall of the deputy commissioner (DC), Peren, on May 13.
Namri, who is also the chairman of DPDB Peren, acknowledged DC Peren and DPDB members for sharing their views and ideas for the development of the district and asked them to work actively for the welfare of the district.
After reviewing the minutes of the last meeting, ADC Peren, Keyirangding Hegui briefed on the activities conducted in the month of April by various departments as part of the pre-celebration programme of Peren Town 75th anniversary.
Meanwhile, DPRO Peren, Gaizam Moses informed the house that the advisor donated Rs. 1.50 lakh for the upgradation of PA system in the conference hall of the DC’s office.
In this regard, he assured that the installation would be completed by the end of this month.
With regard to the agenda on dilapidated condition of Samziuram bridge & movement of heavily loaded vehicles on village roads of Peren, proposed by EE PWD (R&B) Peren, DC Peren, Sentiwapang Aier said a fresh order will be issued.
C.L. John appointed as Mon DPDB chairman
DPDB Mon during its meeting on May 12, in the conference room of the office of DC Mon appointed C.L. John, MLA, as DPDB chairman.
According to a DIPR report, the board approved the following agendas to be forwarded to their respective authorities: opening of Nagaland State Co-operative Bank at Tizit; opening Police Mission School at Tizit; opening Corner Star School at Loakkun; recognition of Sister’s Mission School (Pvt) at Wangti; opening Government College at Aboi and change of location of Green Mount School from Mon village to Tammong village.
The board also deliberated on setting up of Konyak Heritage Village Complex.
