Nagaland Governor, CM, Dy. CM greet Sangtams

Nagaland governor Prof. Jagdish Mukhi, chief minister Neiphiu Rio and deputy chief minister Y Patton have extended warm greetings to the members of the Sangtam community on the occasion of Mongmong festival.
In his message, Prof. Mukhi said Mongmong festival, a celebration for good harvest, was also a time of togetherness, sharing of produce and forgiveness.
Stating that love, care and unity were the “wonderful essence of this festival”, the governor wished good health, happiness and prosperity to all on this auspicious occasion.
Taking to twitter, the chief minister Neiphiu Rio prayed that the essence of the festival of togetherness strengthen bonds, adding that “the Almighty answer our prayers for a bountiful harvest and good health.”
In a message, deputy chief minister Y.Patton said that Mongmong itself meant “togetherness forever” and hoped that festival would be celebrated living up to its meaning.
Patton, on behalf of the state BJP legislators, conveyed heartiest festive greetings and hoped that the celebrations will bring prosperity and unity to the people.
