Governor Prof. Mukhi visits JNV at Nihokhu

Governor of Nagaland, Prof. Jagdish Mukhi on Thursday, visited Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), Nihokhu, Niuland.
In a press release, JNV Nihokhu informed that the governor in his address, highlighted the importance of national integration and “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”.
He also encouraged the students to become better citizens.
At the programme, the governor planted a tree sapling as a mark of his visit in the school campus followed by national anthem, lighting of lamp, facilitation and cultural programme.
Prof. Mukhi along with additional secretary to the governor of Nagaland, George Abraham, commissioner of police Dimapur Rothihu Tetseo, deputy commissioner (DC) Niuland Sara S Jamir, head GBs and other dignitaries were received by Nihokhu villagers in their traditional attires, NCC cadets of JNV Niuland and others.
The programme was compered by JNV Niuland, Anjana, a brief introduction and report of the Vidaylaya was presented by venue principal Kholi Dikho, welcome address by assistant commissioner, NVS, RO Shillong, followed by a Naga traditional folk dance presented by the students.
