H&FW officers inspect medical college site

Officers from the department of Health & Family Welfare (H&FW) led by principal director (PD), Dr. K. Vikato Kinimi monitored the ongoing works at the new medical college site at Phriebagie, Kohima on August 11.
According to a DIPR report, on visitation of the site, Dr. Vikato said that for the progress of the ongoing project, there should be no excuses and work must be completed within scheduled time.
It has now become a matter of utmost urgency and need of the state to have fully functioning medical college by 2023-2024, the PD asserted.
The officials also held a review meeting with contractors and officers present and directed to complete all the pending works within the stipulated timeline and to conduct timely monitoring to avoid and lags.
Further, they reminded that no excuses or extension would be tolerated/approved until then.
