Kitsubozou Youth Society felicitates successful students


Kitsubozou Youth Society (KYS) held its first felicitation programme in the colony panchayat hall, here on Saturday.
Sharing greetings, Kitsubozou panchayat chairman Vimhalie Pienyü urged upon the successful students to work for the welfare of the colony.
He suggested that students should discern the future course of action especially in choosing their streams and act accordingly.
Further, he advised them to be diligent, hard-working and punctual.
In a short speech, SDO PHED, Er Sedevilie Suohu, encouraged the students by saying that through the HSLC examination was just the first in a series of exams that they would be facing in the future.
He said whatever stream they choose to pursue should be done wholeheartedly and be the best in it.
Social activist, Chekrongoi Theyo in a brief speech said “our parents achieved whatever they have through hard work and we have to understand and respect their dedication”.
He urged upon the students to put God first and pointed out essential features which included clear plan, priorities God, cultivating good habits, positive attitude and preparing in advance.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by KYS general secretary Khrielezo Keretsü, invocation was offered by BMC assistant pastor, Menuolhoulie Sekhose, welcome address by advisor Khoto Testeo, special numbers were presented by Thejasenuo Phewhuo Vethizolü Vero while vote of thanks was proposed by finance secretary Peter Chase.
The event was attended by students from a host of communities residing in the colony.
