Konyak Women’s Organisation condemn alleged sexual assault on minor

DIMAPUR: Konyak Nyupuh Sheko Khong (KNSK), apex body of Konyak Women’s Organisation has strongly condemned the alleged sexual assault on a minor girl by a teacher at Chaoha chingnyu village in Mon district.
In a condemnation note, KNSK president Ponglem and general secretary Ngiplem stated that the barbaric act of a teacher, who is looked upon as a role model by the students should be condemned by all right-thinking citizens.
KNSK stated that an individual with such “sick and maniac behaviour” has no place in the society and that, efforts should be made to “nip in the bud” so that such incident did not occur in the future.
The organisation while extending solidarity to the victim and her family and prayed that she would recover from the traumatic incident.
Further, KNSK strongly urged upon the law enforcing agencies to deal with the culprit as per law of the land and award severe punishment for the heinous crime.
KNSK Aboi unit: KNSK Aboi has vehemently condemned the “inhuman act”.
In a condemnation note, KNSK through its vice president Nyamtai Konyak and secretary is H.A Chaoya termed the alleged sexual assault as “a well pre-medicated plan.”
KNSK Aboi unit while questioning how admission process could be done at night stated that such evil act committed upon a minor girl was intolerable and should be condemned by all.
Further, it appealed to the law enforcing agency to leave no stone unturned in the process of investigation and award befitting punishment as per the law.
CCSU: Chaoha Chinglen Students Union (CCSU) in a condemnation note through its president Phuhnye and press secretary C Manlip while condemning the alleged sexual assault by a teacher, “who is a second parents of students” demanded for justice at the earliest to ensure that the victim regained trust and relationship between a teacher and a student.
