Kronu, others mourn demise of Vejoi Vero

Minister for planning and coordination, land revenue and parliamentary affairs, Neiba Kronu has expressed sadness at the demise of former minister, late Vejoi Vero.
In a condolence message, Kronu said late Vero was one of the pioneers and a good leader from the Chakhesang community who immensely rendered his service to the society in various capacities as a veteran politician and a social worker.
In his demise, Kronu said the people have lost a noble, honest and dynamic leader who was an inspiration to all the Nagas. Further, Kronu has expressed deepest condolences to the bereaved family at this moment of grief.
Ex-PAN: Ex- Parliamentarians Association of Nagaland (Ex-PAN) has expressed shock over the sudden demise of Vejoi Vero, ex-minister from Phek district.
In a condolence message, Ex-PAN said late Vero was an upright leader and a dedicated politician, who served in the Nagaland Legislative Assembly for three consecutive tenures.
At this hour of grief and sorrow, the members of Ex-PAN conveyed condolences to the family members and prayed that the Almighty grant them solace.
GPRN/NSCN: GPRN/NSCN has expressed profound grief and sadness over the demise of its kilonser and NPAC member, H. Jami Chang, who passed away on July 19 after prolonged illness.
In a condolence message, GPRN/NSCN through its MIP said late Chang was one of the few senior most national workers who had volunteered with deep fervour to serve for the Naga nation from his early age in 1964.
GPRN/NSCN said late Chang joined the “Naga national” service as a Razoupeyu during the tumultuous years of the national movement and rose on to hold eminent responsibilities during his life time in the “Naga national service” till his last breath.
In his passing away, GPRN/NSCN said the Chang community and the “Naga nation” had lost a great and an able leader whose contribution and service would remain honoured in days to come. While extending deepest sorrow and homage to its dear leader, GPRN/NSCN conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed the Almighty God to grant them solace in this time of grief.
