LFC: Englan FC, Titans XI enter QFs

Englan Range FC and Titans XI have reached the quarterfinals of the 11th Lotha Football Championship (LFC) 2022, played at local ground Wokha on Friday.
Organised by Wokha District Football Association, Englan Range FC defeated Glory Hunters 3-1 to enter the quarterfinals.
Suben Ngullie, Nchumthung and Jenio Yanthan scored for Englan FC while the lone goal for Glory Hunters was scored by Kevizolie.
Playing their last league match, Titans XI defeated United Sporting Club Koio 5-1 and secured a slot in the quarterfinals.
Romeo scored twice in the 28th and 37th minutes, while Mhabemo, Johny and Atho scored a goal each. Earlier, in the second match, Longsa Sports Association beat Gallants FC Kohima 1-0. The winning goal for Longsa SA was scored by Iteibabe in the 24th minute.
The last league match of the tournament will be played on Saturday.
Later in the day, Tsumang Young Stars in collaboration with Cleanliness Ambassador Wokha town conducted a cleanliness drive at the local ground.
The organisers (WDFA) thanked both the groups for initiating the cleanliness drive.
