MITE organises ‘theatre play’

Modern Institute of Teacher Education (MITE), Kohima organized “Theatre Play” on June 28 at the college auditorium under the guidance of Creative Director, Cynthia Kolakhe, Drama and Art in Education, faculty MITE.
The speaker renewed choreographer, Abang Ajem, spoke on how hard work leads to success. He mentioned the importance of vision, dream and satisfaction in every individual’s life. He also dwelt on the importance of education which plays a pivotal role in understanding the capacity of every individual.
Guest of honour, associate professor, MITE, Dr. T S Pandian, also spoke on the importance of art in life and mentioned “Tetseo Sisters” and their skills.
The programme began with a theatre play under the theme “Positive Attitude Leads to Success” performed by the student teachers of semester-II.
Student teachers also performed a musical drama, runway show, puppet show and advertisement and interacted with the Tetseo Sisters.
The programme was chaired by Thungchobeni R Tsopoe, who also proposed vote of thanks.
