Moatoshi inaugurates community hall

Moatoshi Longkumer, MLA, inaugurated a community hall at Rilan village, here, on Saturday.
Speaking on the relationship between Indisen and Rillan villages, Moatoshi said the brotherhood spirit of the two neighbours existed since their inception and that it was only growing stronger.
The MLA said he in the village to further promote relationship between the two villages.
Speaking on border issues, Moatoshi termed the border pillars erected by Assam government as illegal, and claimed that any pillars to be erected in border areas should be done in the knowledge of both the state governments.
He also appealed all not to solve border issue individually since it was the issue between the governments of Assam and Nagaland states.
Moatoshi also spoke on the importance of how Nagas should engage themselves in economic development.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by Sebastian Ezung and invocation offered by deacon, Rilan Sector, Chumjamo Kithan.
Dedicatory prayer for the community hall was offered by senior pastor, Lotha Baptist Church Dimapur, Rev Zanao Mozhui, short speech was delivered by RVC chairman, Nzanbemo Lotha.
Later, vote of thanks was proposed by Rilan Eloe Ekhung chairperson, Hetoly Kithan and benediction was offered by LBCD associate pastor, John Ovung.
