Nagaland Building & Other Construction Workers’ Welfare Board (NBOCWWB) regional Headquater inaugurated

Mokokchung Nagaland Building & Other Construction Workers’ Welfare Board (NBOCWWB) regional headquarters was inaugurated at the basement of the assistant labour commissioner office, Penli ward, by NBOCWWB chairman, Dr. Kekhrie Yhome, here, on Friday.
Delivering chairman’s address, Dr. Kekhrie Yhome said the regional headquarters was established at Mokokchung Town since it has been the elder brother to many districts.
He informed that the regional headquarters would cater to the needs of Longleng, Tuensang, Noklak, Shamator, Zunheboto and Wokha, and expressed optimism that the people of Mokokchung would nurture the newly established Mokokchung NBOCWWB regional headquarters to fulfil the aims and objectives of NBOCWWB.
Dr. Kekhrie said the main objective of NBOCWWB was to register, provide welfare assistance to ease the burden of building & other construction workers from every nook and corner of the state.
In his brief speech, deputy commissioner (DC) Mokokchung, Shashank Pratap Singh acknowledged the responsible department for setting up Mokokchung as the headquarter and assured all possible assistance from the district administration.
The DC also urged upon NBOCWWB to engage the services of the village councils and town authorities, in the data collection, so that no one would be left out.
The inaugural programme was chaired by chief executive officer, NBOCWWB T Chubayanger and a song was presented by Imkumnaro while welcome note was delivered by Ao Senden general secretary Imtipokyim.
Earlier, the regional headquarters was dedicated by UCF pastor, Rev. Wati.
