Need to sensitise public on central schemes: Tovihoto

Accentuating several central schemes intended for the welfare of the public, advisor for Power, Tovihoto Ayemi said there was a need to carry out extensive awareness on the schemes provided by the Centre so that common public were properly sensitised to enjoy the benefits.
Addressing 14th day of “Seva Sushan Aur Gareeb Kalyan Parv” (SSAGKP) rally organised by 1 Dimapur 1 Mandal Tuesday here at Dimapur, Tovihoto lamented that despite several schemes introduced by Modi government, many beneficiaries/citizens were not availing the benefits due to their ignorance or lack of awareness.
In this regard, he suggested the BJP party karyakartas to constitute a cell to assist the people and help them avail the central schemes.
He said that such initiative would ensure that no one was deprived of the schemes.
Tovihoto said the country was celebrating eight years of BJP rule, under the leadership of prime minister Narendra Modi, who he said, had focused “primarily on health care sector.”
Highlighting on Ayushman Bharat Yojana scheme, Tovihoto said out of 18 crore beneficiaries under the scheme, 33.2 crore beneficiaries across the country have been benefited.
The advisor asked karyakartas to acknowledge the welfare and schemes carried out by BJP government through Act East policy.
Asserting that only hardworking and committed people have enrolled in BJP, Tovihoto asked them to remain committed to the party and to always be ready to serve people in all manners.
In a brief message, BJP Dimapur district president, Tokuho Suhoi Niho claimed that prime minister, Modi has “done a lot for the welfare of women in the country”.
He also stressed on the need to bring BJP majority government in the state.
Short speeches were also delivered by president, BJP 1 Dimapur 1 Mandal, LR Anthony and BJP general secretary, state (admin), Kevishe Achumi.
