Nagaland Football Coaches Association holds interaction with Singto


Nagaland Football Coaches Association (NFCA) held an interactive session with coach & director of Association of Indian Football Coach, Thangboi Singto, at IG Stadium, here on Sunday.
A total of 24 coaches including NFCA president-Roko Angami, general secretary Ayeto Ayemi, technical director-William Koso and State coach-Ruopfü Meyase.
Coaches in the session were holders of AIFF Coaches Licence, AFC and NIS licenced.
Thangboi shared his views on the current state of coaching in the State and also in the country.
He urged the coaches to uphold the ethos of officiating a game in fairness at the same time keeping the latest rules in mind.
It may be mentioned here that Singto is paying a visit to the State and had also been the match patron during the first semi-final match of the ongoing Kohima Super Cup played at IG Stadium, organised by Kohima Town Club.
Sharing his observation about the matches, he said the level of football in the State had risen dramatically. He also expressed his appreciation at the level of the skills displayed by the players in the ongoing tourney.
