NLA session adjourned sine die

The two-day 12th session of the 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly was adjourned sine die by NLA Speaker Sharingain Longkumer. The 13th House passed 26 Reports, 26 Bills, and adopted 8 resolutions and 14 discussions on matters of Urgent Public Importance. In his closing remark, the speaker said that although, the All India Presiding Officers conference resolved for 100 days sitting, the 13th House which started from first session to 12th Session, witnessed 38 days of sittings and took 151 hours and 50 minutes.
In his concluding remark, Sharingaing acknowledged all members the House, the chief minister, deputy CM, UDA chairman, NPF Legislature Party leader for their support and cooperation extended towards the chair throughout the sittings which enabled the transaction of the business of the House in an effective manner and for trusting and honoring him and the deputy speaker with the privilege of the solemn chair.
He also acknowledged all officials for extending assistance in transacting the business of the House effectively and efficiently and the media persons for their role in taking the proceedings of the House to the common people across the State.
