Noklak DTF discusses COVID situation

Noklak District Task Force (DTF) on COVID-19 held a meeting in the conference hall of the deputy commissioner (DC) Noklak on Monday, under the chairmanship of DC, Noklak Hiazu Meru.
According to a DIPR report, at the meeting, Hiazu Meru highlighted the present status and scenario of COVID-19 in Nagaland.
DC stressed on the importance of vaccination in the district and suggested on creating COVID-19 awareness on a mass scale.
In this regard, he requested all the DTF members to walk the extra mile in the fight against COVID-19.
In his address, chief medical officer (CMO) Noklak, Dr. Victor NC informed the house about the COVID-19 vaccination status in the district.
CMO encouraged the people in the district to come forward for COVID-19 testing, especially those, who have influenza-like illness.
Dr. Victor also talked about Monkeypox which, he said, was spreading at an alarming rate.
The meeting discussed surveying various levels with regard to vaccination and other logistics available with the medical department.
