Naga People’s Fron panel resolves on Naga solution

Naga People’s Front (NPF) working committee has resolved to reiterate the party’s stand that Naga solution should be honourable, acceptable and inclusive.
This resolution was unanimously adopted at a meeting of the NPF working committee held at the party central office, Kohima on May 24, 2022.
A statement issued by the resolution committee convenor Achumbemo Kikon (NPF secretary general) and members Dr. Ngangshi K Ao (MLA) and Pusazo Lüruo (NPF senior vice president) stated that the working committee meeting deliberated at length on the ongoing peace process vis-à-vis the possible outcome of the present political talk between the Government of India and NSCN (I-M) and Working Committee of the NNPGs.
The working committee expressed the opinion of the party that any solution that was to be arrived at out of the ongoing political negotiation needed to be seriously examined before making a final shape. The party noted that past Agreements and Accords have not produced the desired result, which ultimately led to more divisions amongst the Nagas rather than bringing the Nagas together.
Meanwhile, the meeting also resolved to revamp and re-strengthen the party at all levels. It was resolved to invite all well-wishers of NPF to come forward and associate with the party activities in order to take the Naga people forward “as Nagas are going through a very critical phase of the Political movement.”
