NPF planning to face elections, says Dr. Shürho

NPF has informed that if solution did not come, it was planning to face the next Assembly election in 2023, with new initiative and new vigour with more new faces, giving more attention to the younger generation.
This was stated by NPF party president Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu in a rejoinder while reacting to Rising People’s Party (RPP) statement published on Monday (“NDPP has betrayed strong regional spirit of Naga people”).
RPP had described NPF as being crippled. In this regard, NPF president Dr Shürhozelie Liezietsu admitted that few party workers had moved away along with the defectors, but it had no impact on the party. He claimed that the party remained intact up to the grassroots level.
