NPP state unit holds consultative meet in Tsg

During the 9th leg of the ongoing district tour undertaken by National People’s Party (NPP) Nagaland state parent body to Tuensang district, a consultative meeting of NPP Tuensang district with state parent body was held at Chang Khulei Setshang (CKS) Hall, Tuensang on August 23.
In a press release, NPP Nagaland state unit informed that NPP state president, Dr. Andrew Ahoto Sema deliberated on NPP’s vision for tomorrow’s generation and assured of the party’s progressive goals and aspirations for the people of Nagaland.
Speaking on behalf of the state team, Lima Longchar, state advisor and Philip Lam encouraged the members to continue with enrolment drive and highlighted common problems and needs shared by people of Eastern Nagaland including Tuensang.
Reiterating the clarion call made by NPP president Conrad K. Sangma that “youth are the future of the nation”, state NPYF secretary Aghali Achumi challenged the youth not to look for shortcuts but to be focused on the future and reform the society for upcoming generation.
Advisor to NPP Tuensang district, B. Binyemjong also apprised the state team on the new district team of the parent body, youth and women along with all rank and file of the members from 51 Noksen A/C.
During the discussion hour, several agendas were discussed during which, party representatives committed themselves towards the unity and progress of the party.
The meeting was also attended by officials of the state and district frontal bodies including women wing and NPYF.
The meeting was chaired by Tuensang district NPYF joint secretary, Sao Tola, Tuensang district president Khumpise Lise Sangtam delivered welcome address while vote of thanks was proposed by NPP Tuensang district general secretary (Org), Yangthery.
