At the meeting– attended by 26 CSOs of Peren district including women, youth and student organizations, village councils, affiliated unit, church leaders and concern citizens– the house resolved to support the Indo-Naga peace talks on the “political principle of ‘one people, one nation’ on the will and line of acceptable, honoruable and inclusiveness of all Nagas without borders.”
The civil society organizations also outrightly rejected any “piecemeal solution, economic package or divisive policy for the interest of our people in particular and Nagas in general.”
