POSHAN-A employees demand salary

POSHAN Abhiyaan employees under the department of social welfare have appealed to the state government to intervene and release their eight-month salary.
In a representation addressed to the state chief secretary, the district co-ordinators said that the salary of the POSHAN Abhiyaan employees had not been paid since February 2022, but the concerned authority has turned a deaf ear in spite of approaching the department on several occasions for payment.
The signatories said that the assurance to give allowances (TA) for the POSHAN Pakhwada via video conference was also not paid till date. They said it showed lack of transparency and accountability in the department.
Stating that the employees were facing untold financial hardship and difficulties due to non-payment of salary, they said that the department has failed to disburse the salary even after giving the verbal assurance to release the salary on time.
The signatories also asserted that the government must without discrimination and bias implement the finance department notification dated July 22, 2022 to release the salary of all the monthly pay and fixed pay of all the government employee on the first working day of the month.
