Power outage in parts of Dimapur

Power department has informed about the schedule for the proposed power shutdown for the next four days in parts of Dimapur from 3 a.m. to 8 a.m. starting July 2-7, 2022.
The areas under Duncan & Notun basti feeder including El-Shaddai Area, Notun Basti, LRC, Naga Cemetery, Neisatuo, Island & Fellowship, River Belt Colony would be affected on July 2; areas under Notun basti feeder including Notun Basti, LRC, Naga Cemetery, Neisatuo, Island & Fellowship would be affected on July 4; and areas Duncan Feeder from DC Court Junction to SSI Junction would be affected on July 5&6. The consumers have been requested to bear with the department.
Reminder to Cable TV, telecom operators: The department has also reminded all cable TV operators and telecom operators that their cables were obstructing the work progress of shifting the existing 11KV lines and LT distribution network.
In a press release, Dimapur electrical division executive engineer Y Akito Sema has, therefore, served a three-day deadline on all the cable TV operators and the Telecom service providers to remove their respective cables from the power department-owned electric poles.
The department has cautioned that no further notice would be served, but wherever obstructions appeared in shifting the utilities, the cables would be cut off.
