‘Rededication’ programme of EAC office at Seithekema

A “rededication” programme for EAC office at Seithekema was held on Saturday.
According to a DPRO Dimapur report, EAC Seithekema, Seyiekhrietuo Solo informed the gathering that the EAC office at Seithekema was constructed almost a decade ago, however, it was never occupied as the responsible officers were consecutively stationed at Chümoukedima.
With the inauguration of Chümoukedima as a full-fledged district, the EAC said the office would now function in the building.
Speaking at the programme, commissioner, Nagaland, Rovilatuo Mor said the office was conveniently located to benefit all Nagas and could be further developed to become a model administrative circle.
He encouraged the villages under Seithekema circle to come together for the development of the administrative headquarter.
Rovilatuo opined that the circle headquarters had the potential to be developed as a Town Council in the near future.
In his speech on behalf of the district administration DC Chümoukedima, Abhinav Shivam said the circle was fortunate to have an able and dedicated area officer.
With the rededication of the office, he said the villages under Seithekema circle could be administered with more efficiency.
At the programme, Ao Baptist Church Diphupar, senior pastor Lipok Jamir offered invocation, short speeches were delivered by EAC Circle Chairmen Association president, Razouvotuo Chatsu and EAC Circle GB Association president, Tokishe Achumi.
Later, benediction was offered by Baptist Church Seithekema, pastor Kelezhalie Nagi.
