State BJYM holds executive meeting

The state Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) on Thursday, held its executive meeting at Chümoukedima district, with minister for Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), Jacob Zhimomi as special guest.
In a press release, BJYM Nagaland media cell informed that Zhimomi while addressing the meeting said that he was “fortunate to be part of the world’s largest party”.
He claimed that BJP was “the only party which could unite the country” in terms of governance, social values etc and said it was the endeavour of the party to see that the country was “united for peace, progress and development”.
Highlighting the achievements of the government, Zhimomi said the prime minister has been recognised globally because of this development activities and his economic policies.
He suggested that the party bring out a magazine consisting of the programmes and policies of the government in local languages and distribute it in all the districts of the state.
In his speech, state BJYM president, Hosheto Awomi spoke on the working system in the party and said there was a remarkable transformation across various fields because of the prime minister.
Awomi claimed that the country was marching towards an “Atma Nirbhar Bharat”, after “many decades of misgovernance and ineffective implementation”.
Others who spoke on the occasion included BJYM national executive member and in-charge of Meghalaya, Arvind Damani and Rajya Sabha MP, Phagnon Konyak.
At the meeting, BJYM Nagaland resolved to render its support
to Modi government in its endeavour to open employment opportunities to the country’s youth through various schemes and policies including Agnipath scheme.
It resolved to re-strengthen the organisation down to booth level for the upcoming general elections and to initiate various activities as directed by BJP Nagaland on priority.
BJYM Nagaland also resolved to coordinate and cooperate with all the state morchas; to adhere to the directive of BJYM and to comply with the resolution adopted during the state BJP executive meeting 2022.
