State govt invites more to March 9 consultative meet

In continuation with its earlier notification, the State government has extended invitation to political parties and tribal organizations to attend the consultative meeting to discuss Naga peace process and ULB election at the State Banquet Hall, CM’s residential complex Kohima on March 9 at 10 a.m.
It may be mentioned that the notification issued on March 3 the government had listed four agendas to be discussed at the meeting– Naga peace process, ULB election, AFSPA and NLTP Act. However, as per the notification issued on March 5, only two agendas have been listed for the meeting– Naga peace process and ULB election.
In a meeting notice, home commissioner Abhijit Sinha requested the following organizations to attend the meeting: BJP Nagaland state unit president and two representatives; NPCC president and two representatives; NPP Nagaland unit president and two representatives; NDPP president and two representatives; NPF president and two representatives; JD(U) Nagaland unit president and two representatives; RPP president and two representatives; LJP state unit president and two representatives; NCP state unit president and two representatives; Naga Hoho president and two representatives; Angami Public Organization president and two representatives; Ao Senden president and two representatives; Chakhesang Public Organization president and two representatives; Chang Khulei Setsang, president and two representatives; Konyak Union president and two representatives; Khiamniungan Tribal Council president and two representatives; Lotha Hoho president and two representatives; Phom People Council president and two representatives; Pochury Hoho president and two representatives; Rengma Hoho president and two representatives; Sumi Hoho president and two representatives; Tikhir Tribal Council president and two representatives; United Sangtam Likhum Pumji president and two representatives; Yimkhiung Tribal Council president and two representatives; Zeliang Peoples Organization president and two representatives, Nagaland Garo Tribal Council president and two representatives; Karbi (Mikir) Union president and two representatives; Kuki Inpi Nagaland president and two representatives; Naga People’s Movement for Human Rights secretary general and two representatives and convenor Global Naga Forum and two representatives.
