STINER-TFC, SASRD NU: session on entrepreneurship

A mind mapping interactive session on “Entrepreneurship” was organised by STINER-TFC, SASRD, NU under the initiative of PI, STINER-TFC, Prof. Akali Sema and Dean, SASRD, NU in collaboration with EMPRETEC India Foundation on July 6 at multi-purpose hall, SASRD, Medziphema campus.
In a press release, SASRD informed that programme was conducted with an aim to establish “value and utility of entrepreneurial mindset among the young generation” and provide suggestive evidence that growing entrepreneurial mindset have a positive impact in getting youths to see entrepreneurship and self-employment as a possible career.
A team of 15 entrepreneurs from EMPRETEC India Foundation, both from outside and within-state deliberated on their ‘struggles and success stories’, while also emphasising on importance of developing creative minds, determination, and dedication towards ones’ goal.
National director of EMPRETEC India Foundation, Arnab Chakrabortty moderated the session where different ideas were exchanged, existing and expecting problems were discussed, and various experiences were shared by resource persons and some participants.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by PI, STINER-TFC, Prof. Akali Sema and Dean, SASRD, NU, while Pro Vice Chancellor, SASRD, NU, Prof. Aleminla Ao delivered the welcome address.
A total of 377 participants comprising of students from Modern Christian School, Rivenburg School, King David Higher Secondary School, Government Higher Secondary School, Livingstone Foundation International, Pilgrim School, and college and university students from Unity College, Dimapur Govt. College, Eastern Christian College, Tetso College, B.Sc., M.Sc. and PhD scholars from SASRD NU and a number of aspiring local entrepreneurs participated in the interactive programme.
