SWAG Christian Music Festival held in Kohima

The first Christian Music Festival under the theme SWAG that stands for “Saved with Amazing Grace” was held at the Heritage Kohima from May 13 – 14.
On day one, it featured Ketou Zuyie, Toshi Lemtur, Christian Brothers, Keneisezonuo Keretsü, Thanggoumin & Thethem, Anen & Ali Bozio, City Church Worship band, Kenny and the Faith Band and Tali Angh.
While on day two, artists like Grace and Valentina Roro, Benile, Yapang Pongen, Sowers, Kikru Kechu, Pen Kikon, LC Sekhose, Praise Foundation worship band, Fifth Note Powerfaith performed while the word of God was shared by Denny John.
Citing from the Bible, pastor, City Church Kohima, Kedo Peseyie, shared that the word of God was the foundation of the kingdom and emphasized that the word of God holds the key through which one can hold powers in the kingdom and possess the wisdom of God. He also emphasized that even if all passes, the spiritual relationship with God will last till the end and also urged the crowd to work on it.
The SWAG Christian Music Festival was a two-day Christian Music Festival which featured various activities including music acts involving a line-up several Naga local Christian artistes and also offered stalls on food items, merchandises and exhibitions.
The joint initiative of Powerfaith, Outloud Inc., Headlight and Toso Powerline, the festival was organised featuring event partners Naga Street Style, One Nagaland, Diaong Designs, Stay Hill Crest, G Sports, NV Press,Ternem and Synergy group enterprise with hosts for the event Ruopfuzano Whiso and Bozio Neinu.
SWAG also attempted to reach out to people with the gospel of Christ through the event and also create awareness on Christian music besides providing a platform for upcoming Christian bands/artists while allowing the youth to worship God and sing in His name through praises.
