Traffic regulations for 11th NLA session

In view of the eleventh session of the 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly from March 19-to25, Kohima police have issued traffic regulations as part of the security arrangement.
In a press release, Kohima police PRO informed that only vehicles with the following car passes would be allowed entry to the assembly secretariat: ‘X’ white letter with blue background for legislators; ‘Y’ black letter with green background for AHoDs/HoDs; ‘Assembly Logo’ for assembly staff; ‘LH’ black letter with white background for police personnel and P.S/P.A; ‘O’ black letter with yellow background for IPR/media and other department and ‘On Assembly Duty’ white letter with red background for staff bus/pool & dak vehicles.
The police have informed that no vehicle would be allowed to be parked by the roadside from 6 a.m., onwards during assembly sessions in the following locations: from BSNL telephone exchange till Classic Island; from Raj Bhavan till M.S Classic Island; from Classic Island to assembly secretariat via Razhü point and High School and from New CM official residence, Phezoucha to Assembly Secretariat.
Meanwhile, heavy vehicles would not be allowed to ply in Kohima town during assembly session from 6 a.m., till the session was over.
Further, it informed that all loading and unloading of goods in Kohima town should be completed by 6 a.m. during assembly session and heavy vehicles would not be allowed to be parked along ‘D’ block road. While anticipating positive co-operation from the public, the police will tow away the defaulting vehicles and the charges will be borne by the vehicles owners.
