Training on Drugs and Vaccine Distribution Management System, Equipment Maintenance and Management System underway

A two-day training on Drugs and Vaccine Distribution Management System (DVDMS) and Equipment Maintenance and Management System (EMMS) was organised for Pharmacists, LDAs, Nurses and Block Extension Educator (BEE) got underway on June 15 at the Conference Hall of the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Mokokchung office.
A press release by CMO Mokokchung office stated that resource persons, data analysts (NHP) Er. R. Robert Suohu and Er. Imtisunep Aier from the directorate of Health and Family Welfare, Kohima are imparting the training.
The participants are trained on DVDMS and EMMS which is a software platform with details of drugs and vaccine supply chain management system that deals in purchase, supply and management of various drugs and equipment distribution.
The training aims to provide seamless, accessible and live reporting of drugs, vaccine and other required items at health centres.
CMO, Mokokchung Dr. R Chubala Aier encouraged the participants to learn and deliver quality service at their respective Health centres.
