Trainings and meetings held for civic polls

A training for enumerators and supervisors was held on August 2 at the Conference Hall of deputy commissioner (DC) Kiphire, wherein additional deputy commissioner (ADC) Kiphire, D. Robin briefed the gathering about the intensive excise, how to go on with the enumeration and also explained the dos and don’ts of the excise.
Robin also thanked the enumerators and supervisors for their support and cooperation. He also asked the participants to take respective ward’s unions support before they procced their duties.
Informing the enrolment would begin on August 3, the ADC asked the citizens to keep all the required documents for the enumerators.
extra assistant commissioner (EAC) Kiphire, Ane Khieya also explained in detail about the exercise and how to enrol the forms and the documents needed.
At the meeting, Kiphire Town Ward Union president and secretary requested the enumerators and supervisors to sincerely discharge their assigned duties for the benefit of the town.
Longleng: A meeting on intensive revision of E-Roll 2022 for municipal/town council election a meeting was held on August 2 at the Conference Hall of DC Longleng with political parties, NGOs, GBs and wards authority.
According to a DIPR report, EAC and AERO, Ruokuosetuo Tetso stressed on the rules and guidelines of the state election commission and requested all the supervisor and enumerators to work extra mile for the smooth conduct of electoral revision.
He also said that enrolment should not be above 75% population of the 2011 census.
The meeting was chaired by SDO (C) and administrator ERO, Longleng Town Council, Trongdipa Tongpi. Training for enumerators and supervisor for the intensive revision of e-roll was also conducted.
Dimapur: Training of supervisors and enumerators of East Dimapur Town Council (EDTC) election was conducted on August 1 at the conference hall of DC Dimapur.
According to a DIPR report, the training was conducted by ADC Dimapur and administrator East Dimapur Municipal Council and EAC and AERO, East Dimapur Town Council.
At the meeting, ADC Dimapur informed that government was all set to go for intensive summary revision and for which house-to-house enumeration would be conducted from August 3 to September 24.
The ADC Dimapur also appealed all to extend cooperation to the enumerators for the successful conduct of the scheduled summary revision.
