TSU organises 5th annual literary day cum felicitation ceremony


Tsütuonomia Students’ Union (TSU) organised 5th annual literary day cum HSLC & HSSLC felicitation 2022 at T Khel indoor stadium with NCS, Project Director DRDA, Kethosituo Sekhose as special guest.
Kethosituo Sekhose exhorted the students, acknowledged their achievements, and encouraged them to work even harder and to strive for excellence.
He encouraged them to focus on literature and stressed on developing writing skills, which he highlighted had decreased among the people except for writers and students. He also encouraged them to inculcate the habit of writing from a young age.
Stressing that participation was more important, Sekhose acknowledged the efforts and initiatives taken by TSU in hosting the programme.
Advisor, Tsütuonomia Gazetted Officers Krotho (TGOA), Zakie Suohu also encouraged students to ‘master their profession’ and also to be humble with their achievements. With much competition in the present generation, Suohu advised them to focus and be determined in their future endeavours.
In memory of Lt. Er. Ruokuobiezo Solo, Dr. Theyiephrezo Khimiao presented a cash award of Rs9000 and citation to the best matriculate 2022, Thejakhrienuo Suohu who secured 95.75% in the recent HSLC examination.
Earlier, welcome address was delivered by president, TSU, Vituotsolie Victor Solo, and vote of thanks was pronounced by vice president, TSU, Mhasisetuo Solo. A total of 82 students both HSLC and HSSLC were felicitated. The TGOA sponsored Rs 5000 for the first prizes while TYO sponsored 2nd and 3rd place with Rs 3000 and Rs 2000 respectively.
Later, winners of the various literary events were also awarded.
