Zisaji Presidency College celebrates 25th anniversary

Zisaji Presidency College Kiphire celebrated its 25th anniversary on at the College campus on July 12.
According to a DIPR report, state BJP executive member, Lerimong Sangtam delivered a message minister for Higher Education & Tribal Affairs, Temjen Imna Along.
Along in his speech, mentioned some of the visionary leaders and founding members of Zisaji Presidency College Kiphire and expressed happiness to know that the college was working in sync with the changing times.
He acknowledged the college for making use of modern technology for administrative functioning and curriculum transaction which he said, was a great boost to take forward the New Education Policy.
The college is also rapidly progressing with facilities such as digital smart classroom, E-library, entrepreneurial skill development program, integrated farming and incubation centre for horticulture in collaboration with Horticulture department, Along stated.
The minister said that celebrating 25th anniversary was not only a time to rejoice over the accomplishments, but also to look back at the formative years and the sacrifices made by founding members and teachers.
Further, he acknowledged ZPC for being awarded with permanent affiliation in the year 2022 and accredited by NAAC with Grade B in the year 2019.
As Zisaji Presidency College Kiphire attains 25 years, he expressed hope that the college would continue to shine more as a centre of excellence and produce many fine men and women who will bring laurel to the state.
In his exhortation, deputy commissioner (DC) Kiphire, T Wati Aier said students should put God first in order to excel and achieve. He urged upon every student to inculcate the culture of hard work to build the society and the nation and to bring changes in the society.
The DC also appealed to the teachers and staff to conduct career guidance seminars for the benefit of the students.
The programme was chaired by assistant professor Bokali Shohe, Jubilee College Choir presented a special song, short speeches were delivered by founding member, alumni students, department of Higher Education and former principal while welcome address was delivered by principal in-charge of ZPC Kiphire, Dr. Purna Chandra Mishra.
