Jacob adopts Mapulumi village

PHED minister, Jacob Zhimomi adopted Mapulumi village under 31 Akuluto assembly constituency on April 21.

In a press release, media cell of the advisor stated that while speaking at the Mapulumi village adoption programme, the minister called upon the villagers and leaders to extend cooperation and support towards the policy of the government to ensure inclusive growth and progress. 

He lauded the works and initiatives undertaken by advisor Kazheto Kinimi in his efforts to bring development activities to the constituency and called upon the villagers, area public leaders and civil societies to extend cooperation for all round development.

While expressing his commitment to bring about development programmes to the village, he also cautioned villagers not to hamper the initiatives of the government by way of claiming land ownership compensations.

Advisor Kazheto Kinimi spoke on the initiatives of the village adoption programme by BJP legislators and expressed gratitude to Jacob Zhimomi for his concerns towards Mapulumi village. He also highlighted on the various development activities undertaken by him in the constituency and spoke about the various ongoing development projects that would help the constituency and its people in the all round development.

Earlier, the programme was chaired by Esther Sema, invocation by NCRC pastor Azheto Shohe, welcome address by head GB Khekato Chishi while short speech was delivered by LMUD president Hekavi Chophi and DCCI president Akashe Zhimomi.

Omekali V Chishi presented a special song, vote of thanks was delivered by Hotovi Chishi and benediction was pronounced by MBC pastor Xunito Zhimomi.

The minister was accompanied by host of officers, district administration Zunheboto, SP Zunheboto, ADC Akuluto, EAC Atoizu, Dobashis, GBs along with party officials and public leaders.
