King of the Ring Championship 2021

3E Nagaland will be organising the invitational NagaWrestleMania 8 – “King of The Ring Championship 2021”, under the aegis of Nagaland Wrestling Association (NWA) on February 27 at Rüzhükhrie Government Higher Secondary School Multi-purpose Hall, Kohima with a maximum of 28 invited participants. 

The indoor event will be streamed live for PPV (pay-per-view) making it the first ever PPV event in the history of Naga Wrestling. 
The cash prizes for the indoor event will be as follows: champion – Rs. 50,000 (including championship belt); runner-up – Rs. 30,000; third place – Rs. 15,000 and fourth place – Rs. 10,000.
According to 3E Nagaland, management head, Kethosituo Elvis Mepfhüo, there will be no entry fee but only security deposit or Rs. 1000 which will be collected from each participants for observance of event by-laws. Facebook users can follow/like NagaWrestleMania page for details to buy PPV access to the event “King of The Ring Championship 2021” using ATM card. In addition to PPV, limited venue tickets will also be made available. All attendees to the championship, wrestlers, officials and spectators must compulsorily wear masks and will undergo thermal screening and sanitizing procedures before entry into the venue, the organiser stated.
The organiser further informed that for participants, slots reserved for Angami wrestlers have all been filled up, whereas a few slots for Chakhesang, Zeliang, Poumai and other Naga tribes are still open. Therefore, interested wrestlers from the said tribes may contact the organiser at the earliest.
