Kitovi, GPRN/NSCN condole

Convener WC of NNPGs, N. Kitovi Zhimomi on behalf of the GPRN/NSCN rank and file, has extended condolences for Mrs. Sane and her children, the family of Vehushu Medeo, vice president Chakhesang Public Organisation (CPO), who passed away on April 10. 

In a condolence note, Kitovi said that late Medeo “loved Nagaland from the core of his heart. 

He was a nationalist, a patriot for his people and nation”. 

The convenor said that late Medeo was a leader with integrity and deep sense of justice in his understanding of social and political matters.  

He also said that as a proactive Chakhesang leader, late Medeo offered his positive advice to WC, NNPGs which were collectively studied, inserted in negotiations with the government of India and has now reflected in the Indo-Naga status paper. 

The convenor further prayed that Almighty’s grace comfort the family at this hour and the departed soul to rest in peace. 

 Meanwhile, GPRN/NSCN Chakhesang region has also expressed grief on the untimely demise of Vehushu Medeo, vice president of CPO. In a condolence note, MIP of GPRN/NSCN stated that late Medeo was “always prepared to advice and correct the Chakhesang national workers”, who had a strong devotion to serve the people to the best of his ability. 

He represented Chakhesang tribe in many important gatherings and boldly spoken in the interest of the Chakhesang people in particular and Nagas in general, the MIP stated.
