KLBCZ conduct Music retreat

 KhukiyeLukhayi Baptist Church Zunheboto (KLBCZ) Nagaland organised a one-day music retreat with director, Immanuel Music Academy (IMA), Aron Asumi as resource person on February 12 at its chapel hall.

Speaking during the retreat, Aron Asumi stated that “music was a universal language which enhances ones emotions, imagination and memory and also gives pleasure”.
While acknowledging the many job opportunities in the music field such as music producer, recording engineer, session musician, artist manager etc, Asumi also informed the audience the initiative of government of Nagaland to introduce music teachers in government schools in the future.
In addition, he also stressed on the role of music in the Church by affirming that Bible itself contains over 400 music references and around 50 direct commands urging the believers to sing.
The programme was chaired and invocated by music director, Khukiye Lukhayi, Aristo Aye and benediction was pronounced by Pastor KhukiyeLukhayi Baptist Church.
