Konyak Students Union (KSU) has served a two-day ultimatum to Jio network service provider to restore network in Mon district.

A press release by KSU vice president, Methwang Konyak and general secretary, Phoe Konyak reminded that despite several appeals and the consultative meeting held on September 7, the company has failed to show any improvement of network services in Mon.

Pointing out that it has been three days of complete shutdown of Jio services, the KSU stated that the irregular and unstable network has become genuine concern for the people of Mon district.

Union further stated that it shall be compelled to close down the Jio offices and related activities in Mon district and failing to comply may invite complete ban on Jio Company in Mon district.
