KVYO welcomes RTA Kohima order

Kohima Village Youth Organisation (KVYO) has welcomed the Regional Transport Authority (RTA), Kohima order banning private vehicles plying as taxis in Kohima.

In a press release, KVYO president Ruokuoneituo Phewhuo and general secretary Neingusalie Khruomo through the organisation extended its fullest support to banning of private vehicles plying as taxis and urged the authority to enforce the said order at the earliest.
KVYO also appealed to the public not to entertain or hire any private vehicle taxis as it was illegal.
Further, the organisation requested the enforcing agency to penalise illegal taxis found plying as per provisions of the MV Act without bias.
