Mandatory to attend 75 years of I-Day event: Govt

The State government has made it mandatory for all officers and staff of the Nagaland Civil Secretariat and the directorates whose offices are located around the vicinity of Secretariat complex to attend the State level function to celebrate 75 years of India’s Independence, at Nagaland Civil Secretariat Plaza on March 12. The function will be graced by the chief minister, Nagaland Neiphiu Rio as the special guest.

In a circular, principal secretary, Home, Abhijit Sinha, has requested all AHoDs, HoDs to make arrangements for taking the attendance of their respective staff present in the function and submit the same to his office. 
Sinha further said that supervisor will take attendance of the Grade IV staff of the Secretariat.
All attendees have been asked to seated by 10.30 a.m. and to adhere to COVID-19 appropriate behaviors in the form of wearing masks, maintaining social distancing etc at all times. At the Naga Civil Secretariat Plaza, there will be a function from 11 am onwards, where there will be cultural programmes and song & dance displays on patriotic themes.
