Stepping up its proactive efforts to combat illegal activities, prevention and detection of crime across the state, Nagaland Police affected several arrests, recovery of stolen vehicles and seizures of contraband drugs, IMFLS, foreign made cigarettes, banned tobacco products during the period from November 3 to 17. 

According to DIPR report, stolen vehicles seized by Police included one i-20 B/R No.NL07H 3356, one M/Bike B/R NO.NL02E4287. 
The seized narcotic drugs, liquor and tobacco products included 593 litres of assorted IMFL, 10 kg ganja, 69 gm of brown sugar, 739 numbers of spasmo-proxyvon tablets and other assorted drugs and also 15000 packets of illegal foreign made cigarettes and 400 packets of banned tobacco products. In this connection, a total of 24 persons have been arrested and action initiated against them as per legal provisions.
