Namri urges frontline workers to be vigilant

Taking note of the current situation in Peren district, advisor for Water Resources, Namri Nchang has urged the frontline workers in the district to remain vigilant and be more cautious while fighting against the unseen and deadly COVID-19 virus. 

Namri pointed out there could be high chance of community spread in the district if errors are committed. In this regards, he called upon all the frontline workers to be extra cautious to avert such errors in the future. 

The advisor said during his two-day visit to Peren district on July 2 and 3 following the difficult situation, most positive cases related to COVID-19 have been reported from Peren.

During his visit, the advisor also asked deputy commissioner Peren, Sentiwapang Aier to come up with strict orders. While meeting the entire district concerned, he further mentioned that none can be overlooked at any cost in this fight during this difficult times. He called on to confederate and learns to slobber over every effort. 

In the light of the existing problems being faced, he assured to fight for whatever facilities required and make it available. Subsequently, he appealed and advised the citizens not to panic but strictly follow the necessary rules which have been laid down. He stated that in order to give a good fight; the best weapon is to remain discipline by following the SOP. “So that we hope to see that good days are not far away”, he added. 

The advisor visited the COVID control room at Jalukie and met the medical team headed by CMO, in the presence of ADC Jalukie, Dr. Tinojongshi Chang and SDO Civil district headquarter Kemciyile on July 2. A review meeting was also held at Tening Town Government High School auditorium on July 3, chaired by ADC Tening, Rhosietho Ngouri, involving the medical team, CSOs, Church leaders, frontline workers and public leaders.
