NEISSR begins rural camp at Kidima

North East Institute of Social Sciences and Research (NEISSR), Centre for peace and Conflict Transformation Studies (affiliated to Nagaland University, a Central University) began its eight-day rural camp at Kidima vegetable village on April 13.

NEISSR asst. prof., Stephen Gangmei highlighted the purpose for the academic course of studies and importance of learning the profile and village life. Faculty in-charge, MSW students expressed gratitude to the villagers for accepting the proposal of studies in Kidima. Gangmei said that NEISSR initially proposed Noklak but diverted to Kidima for better accessibility from Dimapur. Rural camp co-convenor, Livino S Zhimo also shared objectives of the camp.

Invocation and benediction was pronounced by Keholenu Tepa and pastor Videse Pucho. Kidima Students also represented villagers in the inaugural programme along with public leaders.
