Nischals portable & micro-scale labs installed

Nischal’s Smart Learning Solutions Pvt. Ltd Hyderabad installed “nischals portable and micro-scale laboratories” under CSR at Rüzhükhrie government higher secondary school (RGHSS) Kohima, here, on Tuesday. Principal director school education Shanavas C initiated the project with the concept of “involving and doing” for easier understanding of the subject in a practical approach.

Math whiz, Nischal Narayanam who was also the youngest double Guinness World Record holder in the field of memory installed the lab.

The lab was inaugurated by advisor school education KT Sukhalu in the presence of school education department officials, special secretary SE Kevileno Angami, NBSE chairman, faculty of RGHSS and others.

At the inaugural function, Narayanam was confident that the newly inaugurated lab would not be kept as “show piece” and that if students understood and pursued mathematics and science, the purpose of his visit and efforts would be justified.

Sharing how he began his journey at the age of 8, Narayanam said knowledge acquired outside the world was more effective than knowledge acquired within the four confined walls.

He maintained that “learning by doing was more effective than hearing and listening” and urged the teachers to be well trained and make good use of the products so that his visit would go to waste.

Narayanam also performed the memory game at the function.

In his brief address, advisor school education, KT Sukhalu said math and science remained a challenge for many Naga students however with the installation of the lab he hoped that students would pick up the subjects without barriers.

He also congratulated and thanked Nischal Narayanam for his concern to encourage the students and was positive that his effort would not go in vain.

CEO CR Rao advance institute of mathematics statistics & Comp Science Hyderabad, Dr. Yugandhar said his CR Rao institute envisaged to train policy officials in the field of cyber security and cryptography and said the matter was discussed with state senior officials and thanked governor for his help and cooperation. He urged students to take full advantage of the lab as it would help with the fear of math and science and pave way for the better understanding of the subject.

It may be mentioned that four full labs would be installed in Dr. NGHSS Kohima, GHSS Dimapur, GHSS Mon and GHSS Zunheboto while Mathematics lab will be installed in GHSS Tuensang and GHSS Phek. Each lab costs Rs. 7.5 lakhs sponsored by Nischal’s smart learning solutions Pvt. Ltd Hyderabad.
