NJCF prayer day: NSCN (I-M) calls for half day closure

In view of the proposed prayer day called by the Nagaland Joint Christian Forum (NJCF), the NSCN (I-M) UT has informed all commercial establishments apart from medical and educational establishments to show solidarity by keeping their stores closed till 12 noon on March 20, 2021. 

In a press release, UT secretary John M Yim stated that they would also observe the programme at Diphupar ‘A’ Village Council Hall on March 20, 2021 from 6am to 12noon. It has informed all “national workers” of UT to attend the programme positively.

NJCF in an appeal to all heads of all denominations in Nagaland to organize a day of prayer for confession, repentance and for the Naga political solution.

GPRN/NSCN to join NJCF prayer day

Following the call made by the Nagaland Joint Christian Forum (NJCF) for a statewide prayer day on March 20, 2021 from 6am to 12 noon, the GPRN/NSCN, Ministry of Religious Affairs (MRA) has informed that “a national prayer and fasting programme” would be convened at Council Headquarters (CHQ), Khehoi Designated camp. 
GPRN/NSCN through its MIP has, therefore, informed all its members to attend the proposed programme without fail.
Further, all the regional authorities and head of designated camps have also been informed to conduct and observe the day in the same manner as proposed.
