Nagaland Police Retired Officer’s Association (NPROA) held its 6th annual general meeting on Monday in the rhododendron hall of police complex, Chumukedima.

In a press release, NPROA informed that an exhortation was delivered by V. Solo, Retd. NPS and secretary report was given by T. Chaya, Retd. NPS.

M K Baruah, Retd. NPS, S M Singh, Retd. NPS and others also delivered speeches at the programme.

The members also discussed various agendas for the upliftment of the association.

Earlier, the programme was led by Imsu Sungit Ao, Retd. NPS, Nrilo Himb, Retd. NPS said the invocation, welcome speech was given by I. Bendang Ao, Retd. NPS, president NPROA, NS Rengma, Retd. NPS gave the treasurer report while vote of thanks was proposed by Agwanye Seb, Retd. NPS.

Altogether, 45 members attended the meeting with representatives from Assam, Manipur, West Bengal and 88-year-old Rüvilhou Angami, Retd. NPS who was the senior most attendee.

NPROA acknowledged DGP, officers and individuals involved in making the 6th annual general meeting a success.

It also appealed to all the retired officers to participate in such meetings in the days to come and to register with the association.
