NSCN (I-M) central team holds meeting with LH

Central team of senior NSCN/GPRN officials led by convenor steering committee held a meeting with Lotha Hoho (LH) at village chairman conference hall, Wokha town on December 4. 

A press release by NSCN/GPRN Lotha region caretaker CAO Chichamo Tsanglao stated that, convenor steering committee ‘major (retd)’ Hutovi Chishi, gave historical outline of the Naga national movement since its inception till the present day and the pivotal role being played by the NSCN. Recalling the many historical events that took place in Lotha territory and the key role played by many Lothas in the course of the Naga national struggle, he called upon the Lothas not to fall prey to the divisive forces at play. On “Framework Agreement (FA) and competencies”, steering committee executive member, V. Horam elaborated the contents of the FA and divulged the details envisaged by the NSCN in the final “solution” with the GoI.
Speaker tatar hoho, Ashiho Asoumai, outlined the stance of the NSCN with regard to “reconciliation” and detailed compendium of journey of reconciliation initiated by the FNR was provided to the house.
On “Pan Naga Hoho”, the convenor, ceasefire monitoring cell Kihoi Swu explained that taking into consideration the problem being faced by India in integrating all Naga inhabited areas under the dominion of the present state of India, the idea of a “Pan Naga Hoho” has been conceptualized to serve as platform for the promotion of common Naga interests until such time as physical integration of all Naga inhabited areas was made possible. Chairman LH informed the house of various grievances of the Lothas in general which were duly noted and acknowledged by the NSCN/GPRN officials. He further stated that there was no dispute on whatever had been apprised and that the Lotha people welcome and accept a solution that is honourable and acceptable for the Nagas in general.
Earlier, meeting was chaired by Lotha Hoho (LH) chairman, Mhondamo Ovung, invocation by executive member LH Mhonlumo Humtsoe. The central team was led by the convenor, steering committee ‘major (retd)’ Hutovi Chishi comprised of the speaker tatar hoho Ashiho Asoumi, steering committee executive member V. Horam, convenor, ceasefire monitoring cell Kihoi Swu, defence secretary Er. Akaho Swu and PRO ‘colonel’ Vikato Achumi.
