Rio launches e-commerce platform

Nagaland chief minister Neiphiu Rio launched the ‘YellowChain’ on the occasion of the 74 Independence Day at Secretariat plaza, Kohima.

YellowChain is a single window e-commerce platform developed by Investment and Development Authority of Nagaland (IDAN) to promote local business and entrepreneurship, that will create opportunity and environment for small time retailers and aspiring entrepreneurs, to expand their scope of business opportunities. YellowChain is a dynamic, user friendly, easy to use interface designed to create a link between entrepreneurs, retailers and service providers with the citizens by providing integrated services on a wide range of economic activities including basic services such as barbers, plumbers, electrician and also roadside vendors, local product sellers, etc.

YellowChain has been indigenously developed by local talents of Nagaland.

Apart from enabling them to engage in economic activities, it also creates space for any other individuals with skills to start new business. Any individual or group who are proactive and ready to work can build their own business enterprise through this platform by creating their own virtual supermarket or shopping mall and transact through digital payment with freedom. 

Launched on December 3,1990. Nagaland Post is the first and highest circulated newspaper of Nagaland state. Nagaland Post is also the first newspaper in Nagaland to be published in multi-colour.
