Security forces seize IMFL

Security Forces along with Police representative has seized Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) from different pockets of Dimapur district. 

A press release by PRO (defence) stated that the raids are being carried out as part of the ongoing crackdown by security forces to prevent illegal activities in Nagaland.
PRO said on September 1, based on specific intelligence regarding illegal activities security forces along with Police representative, launched an operation and seized assorted IMFL worth Rs. 1,15,800, two mobile phones and Rs, 2.7 lakh.
In this connection, one Bhawani Singh (28) resident of Burma Camp, Dimapur was apprehended.
In a separate operation, security forces along with police representative seized IMFL worth Rs1,05,000 along with Rs. 48,290 cash on September 2 at 4th Mile, Dimapur.
PRO said one person identified as Atoka Sumi (24) resident of 4th Mile, Dimapur was apprehended.
The apprehended individual along with recovered items was handed over to Diphupar police station for further investigation, informed PRO.
