Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Nagaland will be holding its second state executive meeting today at IMC Hall.

This was informed by general secretary (admin), BJP Nagaland, Khevishe Sema at a press conference held at Conference Hall, Tourist Lodge here, on Friday.

Addressing the media, Khevishe informed that BJP Nagaland would be holding its second state executive meeting, where national general secretary organisation, BJP, BL Santhosh will be delivering a virtual speech.

Khevishe read out achievements and policies of BJP government.

In this regard, he added that under the leadership of prime minister, Narendra Modi, the BJP government had achieved several achievements and policies such as launching of GST, Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY), Swachh Bharat Mission Campaign, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP), Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY), passing of farm bill, scrapping of Article370, introduction of National Education Policy (NEP), etc.

He claimed that though previous government came under huge scandals like CWG, Coalgate and 2G spectrum, the present government had not faced such corruption charges and that the politicians had worked with commitment which he claimed was one among the biggest achievements.

When asked what the scenario was of BJP government in the state, keeping in mind of the recent conflicts with regard to leaderships, BJP Nagaland Mahila Morcha president, Phangnon Konyak confirmed that though there had been misunderstandings amongst party workers internally, all conflicts had been resolved.

She further added that every political party, be it regional or national party would have internal conflicts.
