Suruhuto PS, SDO (C) office building inaugurated

Police station and SDO (C) office building at Suruhuto town was inaugurated at the new office building compound on April 14.

According to DIPR report, while speaking at the inaugural programme, advisor for tourism, art and culture, H Khehovi Yepthomi thanked the contractor Shivikhu shikhu of the SDO (O) office building for completing the building despite facing many hurdles.

He also thanked ex parliamentary secretary Shetoyi as the project was started by him.

The advisor requested the people to take good care of the office properties as it was for them and added that good medical facilities, schools, roads, police stations etc., were various needs for development and that the people of Suruhuto should be thankful to the government.

He thanked the PDA government under the leadership of chief minister Neiphiu Rio for making the dreams of the people of Suruhuto a reality.

Further, he requested the people to enrol themselves in the census list if they have not enrolled yet.

Short speeches were delivered by Suruhuto area sports association Vihuto Achumi, SP Zunheboto T Uniel Kichu, DIG (Range/NAP) Tuensang Rajashekara N and DC Zunheboto Peter Lichamo.

In his short speech, SP Uniel thanked the advisor for taking the initiative to set up the police station and also said that police would do its best to make the new police station efficient for the people.

DIG Rajashekara N thanked the people for making the inauguration ceremony a success and added that since it was a tri-junction (Tuensang, Noklak and Zunheboto), the office had become necessary.

DC Peter Lichamo thanked the advisor and requested the public to cooperate with the administration and government.

He encouraged the people to provide land so that there would be development.

Earlier the programme was chaired by SDO (C) Suruhuto Dr. Kuzonyi wideo, dedicatory prayer by women leader at Police station Kavili and Vikaho Zhimo at SDO (C) office building, invocation by women associate pastor Kikatoli, welcome speech by PRO to advisor Kavito Jakhalu.

Meanwhile, technical report was presented by building contractor Shivikhu shikhu, vote of thanks by Hovishe Shikhu and benediction by SS leader Lashiho.
