TSC holds first futsal tourney

Tesophenyu Sporting Club (TSC) organised its first open futsal tourney from October  22 to 23 at TLBC Convention ground. The tournament was aimed at bringing together football enthusiasts, develop stamina, skills and agility of players and strengthen friendship amongst various clubs during the pandemic at grassroot level. 

The tourney lasted for two days whereby Neighborhood Boys Tseminyu trounced Phenomenal FC with four goals by  three goals in the final match and walked away as the champion with a cash amount of  Rs 12000 and certificates. 

Phenomenal FC emerged as the runners-up collecting Rs 6000 and certificates. Ntsenlo Semp from Neighbourhood Boys was adjudged player of the tourney while Kenyuhyulo Seb of Phenomenal FC was adjudged as the best goal keeper.

Genesis Store Tseminyu sponsored individual prizes such as player of the tourney and best goalkeeper. Various well wishers of club sponsored the tourney.

Altogether 17 teams participated for the first open futsal tourney of Tesophenyu Sporting Club. The Club said it will endeavour to make the futsal tourney a yearly event and has also announced the first open football tournament for men and volleyball tournament for women starting from January 11 to 22 ,2021  at GHS Tesophenyu ground.
